The Parish Council is deeply saddened to hear the announcement of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.

Lound Parish Council is the focal point for local consultation on matters such as planning applications, and Suffolk County Council or East Suffolk District Council strategic planning. It also owns and maintains village assets such as The Mardle, and the allotments and heath off Earth Lane.

The council meets in the village hall at 7.30pm on the first Monday of January, March,July, September and November. There is also a Parish Annual meeting which is usually held in May. All Lound residents are welcome to attend these meetings, which are often attended by representatives from East Suffolk District Council, and Suffolk County Council.

The dates for these meetings, and agendas / minutes are posted on the Parish Council notice boards.

There are seven Parish Councillors for Lound, and they serve a four year term of office.

A list of the current councillors is available here
